The Sunday Journal – February

new experiences

February was quite memorable. So much happened that as I was looking through my photos, I said to myself, “That was in February?”. Typically, the start of a new year feels like it takes months to pass, however, this has not been the case. At work, the project I’m on has maintained its dynamic nature and has kept my brain occupied during the week. Adding in my consistent workouts and reading, I have established a solid routine. That leaves the weekends which I have kept full by remaining determined to keep my New Year’s Resolution of seeking new experiences.

I had three unforgettable adventures in February. The first being a trip to Victoria, visiting our friends and exploring parts of Vancouver Island I’d never been to before. The second was a winter car camping experience, our very first. And lastly, a trip to Hawaii with my Dad for the very first time. Each adventure provided new experiences, challenges, and a ton of fun. If February was a sign of what’s to come in 2025, then it’s going to be a pretty great year. I am feeling refreshed, and ready to get back into the grind at work. Work hard, play hard as they say right?

When you prioritize some things, other priorities can take a backseat. In my case, I feel I have forgotten how to write. So, to get myself back into it, I present this brief journal as I’d like to save you (and myself) from a monotonous play-by-play, recounting every detail of February. Instead, I share the following photo highlights of what made February a great month. I shall work towards keeping the good vibes going. Until next time.
